St. Mary's of Michigan's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory has performed over 85,000 procedures including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, peripheral vascular procedures, among others. The St. Mary's of Michigan cardiac care team IS the most experienced partner to have in your treatment and recovery.

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is the center of the decision-making process to identify optimal treatment choices for each patient. These choices include:

  • Cardiac Interventions: Angioplast, Stent Placement
  • Heart Surgery
  • Medical Management: This approach involves optimizing the medication, diet and lifestyle changes necessary to support a healthy heart. Your physician will discuss with you whether this is a safe and appropriate choice for you.

Gene had a problem with his heart, and, even though it took 12 hours to drive to Rochester, he wanted the best care. "I was getting dizzy spells and my heart was fluttering," he says.
