St. Mary’s Charity Golf Classic is June 3 and 4 at Apple Mountain Golf Club
St. Mary’s of Michigan Foundation has hosted the region’s largest golf outing for the past 28 years, raising over $2.3 million for the most advanced healthcare equipment, programs and services.
You are invited to participate in the 29th Annual St. Mary’s of Michigan Foundation Charity Golf Classic! Enjoy a day on the course, while feeling good about supporting the hospital’s mission to provide the latest health care technology and treatments to everyone, every day.
Foursomes will enjoy 18 holes of golf with cart, a complimentary gift package, course contests, raffles, and refreshments on the course, grilled lunch and dinner.
Your participation in the 2015 Charity Golf Classic will support the purchase of a new cardiac ultrasound machine. The new machine will provide 3-D imaging to assist physicians in treating patients with heart failure, aid in diagnosing valve and other heart defects, as well as assist with Electrophysiology studies. The imaging equipment will offer the region’s families with the most advanced care while utilizing leading-edge technology.

20th Annual Cornette Ball
to Honor Dr. Bhrama Sarvepalli, Family Medicine

St. Mary’s of Michigan Foundation is pleased to announce that Dr. Bhramaramba (Bhrama) Sarvepalli is the recipient of the prestigious Spirit of St. Vincent Award.
Since 1997, Dr. Sarvepalli has established one of the busiest family practice offices in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Patients continually comment that Dr. Sarvepalli truly loves her patients and provides the most compassionate care. She has delivered medical care to thousands of patients at every life stage from delivering babies to providing geriatric care.
The Spirit of St. Vincent Award is presented annually to at least one highly respected physician who has rendered long and noteworthy service to the Great Lakes Bay community and beyond. The prestigious award will be presented at the 20th Annual Cornette Ball on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at Horizons Conference Center, Saginaw.
St. Mary’s of Michigan Foundation’s Cornette Ball is one of the grandest black-tie galas in the region. The festive evening includes a cocktail hour, a magnificent five-course gourmet meal and live music by Detroit’s Intrigue.
Proceeds from the event support St. Mary’s of Michigan’s new Interventional Radiology Special Procedure Suite. This $2 million project will provide today’s patient with the most advanced care while utilizing leading-edge technology. Whether treating brain or abdominal aneurysms, opening blocked arteries and veins or treating other non-cardiac conditions, the new interventional radiology suite will offer the patient less invasive treatment options, less radiation exposure and quicker recovery time.

Light Up A Life
2013 Campaign Raises Nearly $21,000
Light Up a Life allows individuals to make a gift in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special person or occasion during the holiday season with the purchase of a lighted tree, ornament or white light tribute.
Proceeds from the Light Up a Life campaign benefit the Palliative & Hospice Care Fund and the Mission Fund at St. Mary's of Michigan Foundation.
Donors and community members attended a Remembrance Reception held on December 18 and enjoyed a service with light refreshments and a visit from Santa.
