Mitch Albom Coming to Saginaw!
He’s a bestselling author, journalist, screenwriter, playwright, radio and television broadcaster and a musician. Detroit Free Press sports columnist Mitch Albom will appear at the Temple Theatre in Saginaw on Monday, October 12 at 8 p.m. to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of the First Congregational Church. He will share inspirational messages from his first non-fiction book since Tuesdays with Morrie, entitled Have a Little Faith. The book is about losing belief and finding it again and about the divine spark inside us all.
Mitch Albom’s books have collectively sold over 30 million copies worldwide and they have been published in about 40 countries and several languages around the world. “We are blessed to have been able to get Mitch Albom to come to Saginaw,” says First Congregational Church Senior Minister Chuck Guerreno. “Albom’s books are inspirations of faith and his presentation in Saginaw will no doubt be a memorable one.”
Tickets for the Mitch Albom appearance in Saginaw are $22.00 and $32.00. Albom will make a donation which will be used to distribute over 300 copies of Have a Little Faith to the underserved people of Saginaw County. The Public Libraries of Saginaw and St. Mary’s of Michigan are also co-sponsors of this event. In the spirit of the evening and to assist families in our community, the program sponsors encourage persons attending Albom’s Temple Theatre program to donate a non-perishable food item to be distributed through Hidden Harvest.
