Dr. John Collins Honored at Cornette Ball
Nearly 500 guests kicked off the holiday season in style at this year's Cornette Ball on November 20, 2010. Dr. John Collins, Interventional Cardiologist, was honored at the Ball with the 2010 Spirit of St. Vincent Award for his years of noteworthy service in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
It was a magical evening, made even more exciting by the news that nearly $206,000 was raised to purchase the MUSE Cardiology Information System for management of crucial, personalized diagnostic and treatment information resulting in the most comprehensive patient-centered cardiac care.
The MUSE provides fast and easy access to critical cardiac data through a digital environment that supports paperless workflow. The system allows physicians and other healthcare providers access to a host of diagnostic tools to help analyze, interpret and edit data. It also provides demographic and interpretive information, and all historical cardiology records - all at the click of a button.
The MUSE will become the hub of our cardiology department, directing and managing the flow of cardiac information and helping caregivers make the most accurate cardiac assessments.
