St. Mary's of Michigan Continues Free Health Series, Coffee Talk
St. Mary's of Michigan continues Coffee Talk, a monthly health information series. To start the new year off, the first health series will take place Thursday, January 13 at St. Mary's of Michigan Towne Centre at 11 a.m. This month's lecture will explore how the diagnosis of cancer can affect a person's sexuality. Tracy Davis, RN, will discuss what sexuality is, what causes dysfunctions, dealing with dysfunctions related to breast, colon, prostate, cervical and uterine cancer, treatment options and offer suggestions.
Coffee Talk is a series focused on providing education for a happier, healthier lifestyle, as well as an opportunity to answer questions and concerns about prevalent health issues. Future topics include cardiac health on February 10, colorectal cancer on March 10, men's health on April 14 and stroke on May 12.
Anyone interested in learning more about a healthy lifestyle is welcome to attend. The program runs from 11 a.m. until 12 noon in the conference room.
