St. Mary’s of Michigan has announced the opening of a new Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. It is designed to help patients with heart disease recover faster and return to full and productive lives. The program utilizes a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to help improve cardiovascular health through exercise, strength training, flexibilit
y training, and risk education.
The program utilizes the very latest cardiac rehabilitation equipment. A monitoring system enables technicians to exam heart rhythms while clients are exercising. The educational portion includes classes in medications, stress, and nutrition. “This is going to enable us to offer the full cardiac continuum of care,” says Deborah Rievert, Director of Rehabilitation Services.
The St. Mary’s of Michigan Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is located on the 3rd
floor of the MCVI Building, 1015 S. Washington in Saginaw. The telephone number is 989-907-8733. The office is open Monday through Friday. Please call for an appointment.
