Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac RehabThe cardiac rehabilitation experts at St. Mary’s of Michigan can help increase the odds of recovering faster and returning to full and productive life after cardiac events like:
  • Angina
  • Heart attack
  • Balloon angioplasty
  • Coronary stent
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery
  • Heart valve surgery
  • Heart transplant

Phase II Program
Your physician will prescribe this and it is covered by most insurance plans:
  • Initial assessment
  • Telemetry monitored exercise sessions supervised by registered nurses and exercise physiologists
  • Risk factor education including healthy eating, stress management, exercise and medications

Phase III Program
Open to graduates of Phase II, this fee-based program is designed for anyone interested in reducing their risk factors for cardiovascular disease:
  • Individualized exercise sessions supervised by registered nurses and exercise physiologists
  • Access to all cardiac rehabilitation education
  • Support and motivation to live a heart healthy lifestyle
