Learn to Live Well with Diabetes

You have diabetes. And yes, it's a serious, life-long disease. But it's also something you can manage. And we're here to help.

There's a lot that you can do to be healthy. And we'd like to show you how. The Diabetes Self-Management Education Program at St. Mary's of Michigan Standish Hospital offers you the tools you need to learn more, feel better, and live well.

It's true that your daily routine changes with diabetes. But the experts at St. Mary's of Michigan Standish Hospital will work with you to understand your unique situation and help you modify your lifestyle in ways that truly work for you.

Our program provides:
  • One-on-one counseling with a registered nurse and registered dietitian.
  • Group classes for you and your support person (friend, spouse, relative)
  • Diabetes educational offerings (support group meetings) and activities throughout the year
  • Flexible hours

When you're ready to get started, please give us a call at (989) 846-3430. We wish you a full and healthy life!

The Diabetes Self-Management Education Program is certified through the Michigan Department of Community Health and accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
