Clinical Laboratory
When You and Your Doctor Need Results
Accurate, detailed, convenient, and swift testing provides your doctors with the vital information they need to diagnose and treat you for disease, illness, or injury.
 
St. Mary's of Michigan Standish Hospital offers comprehensive clinical laboratory and pathology services under the medical direction of Jaya Sankaran, M.D., F.C.A.P.
 
Specimen Collection Location and Schedule:
Whether you are being treated by a St. Mary's of Michigan Standish Hospital physician or not, we encourage you to use our convenient laboratory services.  All that is required is an order from your doctor or employer.
 
The lab is located in the main corridor of the hospital at 805 W. Cedar (M-61) in Standish. 
 
Outpatient Hours
Monday - Friday
7:30 am to 6:00 pm
 
For all other times, including holidays, please call (989) 846-3465 to make arrangements.  Specimens for tests that cannot be performed at St. Mary's of Michigan Standish Hospital are sent to an accredited reference lab.
 
The laboratory provides a wide variety of services in hematology, chemistry, coagulation, microbiology, blood transfusion services, serology, urinalysis, glucose tolerance testing, and therapeutic phlebotomy.  We also offer DOT and Non-DOT employer urine drug and breath alcohol collections.
